PDF Vista Licensing

Server Edition Licensing

In server-client environment, the number of licenses to purchase is based on the number of workstations that will access PDF Vista Print Server through the network. Licensing is not concurrent nor is it based on the number of servers.

Examples:

1. 80 different workstations accessing PDF Vista printer on the network require an 80 user license regardless of whether the 80 workstations will access PDF Vista printer at different times or concurrently.

2. 40 users using Terminal Server or local applications require a 40 user license.

3. 20 total connected workstations but only 8 using PDF Vista printer require an 8 user license.

Workstation Edition Licensing

1. 2 different workstations with PDF Vista software installed on both require a 2 user license.

2. 1 user has 2 different workstations (one desktop, one laptop) with PDF Vista software installed on both requires a 2 user license.

3. 2 different workstations, one with PDF Vista installed and shares this PDF Vista printer to the other computer require a 2 user license.
